Governor Beshear Honors Saint Joseph's Nurses Governor Steven Beshear penned the following letter to the nurses of Saint Joseph Health System in appreciation of their invaluable and immeasurable service. The letter was sent last week in honor of Nurses Day and Nurses Week celebrations. To
the Nurses of Saint Joseph Health System: Dear Friends, On behalf of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, I am pleased to recognize your many contributions at Saint Joseph. The dedication you show every day in treatment and assistance is essential to patient care, and I commend you for the hard work and compassion you display. As we approach National Nurses Day, it is an especially appropriate time to honor the individuals who devote their hours to healing the sick, working with families, and providing a number of services that go unrecognized. Kentucky certainly appreciates your hard work and devotion to caring for the ailing citizens of the Commonwealth. I hope you are aware of the inspiration your actions cause, and I would be proud to receive care from any of you. Best wishes for another year of exceptional care. Sincerely, |
