The Saint Joseph Foundation has embarked on an exciting
fundraising venture for Maternity and Women's Services at Saint Joseph
East called "A Star is Born."
Since January
2006, parents, grandparents, or family friends of newborns, may purchase a
plaque in honor of their new little bundle of joy. Engraved on the nameplate
will be the baby's name, birth date, weight and measurements, and it will be
attached to the mural in the star representing the baby's birth month. One year
later, during the month of the baby's first birthday, the plaque, birthday card
and a host of birthday surprises will be sent to the little one to commemorate
its most special day.
The purchase of this tax-deductible package is only $150.
Materials to take part in this program can be found at your OB/GYN office,
beside the mural or in the waiting room on the second floor of Saint Joseph
East, or the informational binder given by Saint Joseph East to expectant
mothers during the 36th week of pregnancy.
