The
Saint Joseph Hospital Foundation's mission is accomplished through funding current
programs and services. The Foundation raises and manages these funds through a variety
of sources, including an annual campaign, direct mail, gifts to the Founder's Society,
trusts, estate gifts, and of course, the Employee Campaign. Please take a moment
and read the below descriptions of the current programs:
Appalachian
Outreach Program - Sisters of
Charity of Nazareth and
Sisters of other orders counsel over 10,000
Saint Joseph patients each year in central and eastern Kentucky. This program
focuses on patients with heart disease, diabetes, high cholesterol, and nutrition concerns.
In addition, the Sisters provide pastoral and social services. (Saint
Joseph Hospital, Saint Joseph East, Saint Joseph - Jessamine)
