Saint Joseph - London, formerly Marymount Medical Center, is a 89-bed general, acute-care hospital that provides a full range of medical, surgical and obstetrical services, including rehabilitation services, respiratory therapy and cardiovascular services. Other services include outpatient pediatrics, home health and hospice. The hospital's primary service area covers Laurel, Jackson, Clay and Whitley counties. Saint Joseph - London will be opening a brand new replacement facility in 2010 that will increase its bed capacity to 120 and will include all private rooms.
 100 Top Cardiovascular Hospital Designation
In December 2008, Saint Joseph - London was named a "100 Top Cardiovascular Hospital in the nation" by Thomson Reuters. Hospitals receiving this designation are setting the nation's standards for cardiovascular care. Thomson Reuters examined the performance of 970 hospitals by analyzing clinical outcomes for patients diagnosed with heart failure and heart attacks and for those who received coronary bypass surgery and angioplasties. Only one other hospital in Kentucky made this national list along with Saint Joseph - London.
