Saint Joseph Health System
Radiography Program
We would like to thank you for your interest in the Saint Joseph Health System Radiography Program. We have provided program information along with the required application forms. Cohorts begin each June and require twenty-four months for completion. Upon successful completion of the program, students are eligible to apply for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists national certification examination in radiography. Students are also eligible for Radiation Operator certification by the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services Department of Public Health. The Radiography Program is accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).

2. STUDENT AGREEMENT Please read, sign and return with the application. If you are under 18, your parent or guardian must sign the application. Click Here to download the agreement (.pdf)
3. TECHNICAL STANDARDS FORM Please read, sign and return form with the application.
4. OBSERVATION A minimum of four hours is required at Saint Joseph HealthCare-West prior to the application deadline. Appointment dates are limited. Please schedule with the Clinical Supervisor as soon as possible. Her phone number is listed on the general information page. Observations may be conducted until December 1. 5. TRANSCRIPT All high school and college transcripts are required. If you have completed high school, request your high school to submit a transcript of your grades. Applicants still in high school must have their school submit a partial transcript with their most recent grading period. Then upon graduation have them submit a complete official transcript. If you have attended college or any vocational school, request the school submit your transcript.
6. PAPER Please submit with application a typed paper describing why you want to be a Radiologic Technologist and what you think the professional role should consist of. This is an opportunity for you to express yourself and interject your attributes. Minimum paper length is to be one page.
7. FEE An application fee of $50.00 can be paid by a check or money order made payable to Saint Joseph Hospital.

All forms and information must be completed and returned by December 15. Any application submitted without all the required information will not be considered for the program.
