The Cancer Center uses a multidisciplinary approach in caring for the cancer patient, including the physician, nurses, dietitians, clinical pharmacists, social workers, chaplains, physical, speech and occupational therapists, and an oncology clinical nurse specialist. Cancer services at Saint Joseph are supported by full diagnostic radiology and nuclear
medicine capabilities and include CT scanning, MRI, and PET scanning. Full-service surgical services are available in the hospital and the cancer program is overseen by a multidisciplinary Cancer Committee which provides program leadership. The center is ACOS accredited.
